On Friday, we had an all-day fieldtrip with IES. We visited two chateaux: Chateau Fountainbleau and Vaux le Vicomte. (If you recognize the latter, it might be because Eva Longoria and Tony Parker got married there...)
Basically, I have to say that the pictures do NOT do these places justice. I'd say the outdoor pictures of the gardens do a pretty good job, but the interior pictures can't touch the real thing - you just have to see the grandeur in person to comprehend the details. But yes, I liked the gardens the most...
